The centerpiece of the installation presented at "Ars Electronica" was a five-pointed star whose form evoked the stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as well as the emblem of the US Army.
Suspended from the ceiling above the star was a flat-screen monitor providing a nonstop display of film footage having to do with Hedy Lamarr. This reel was edited by the Vienna-based filmmaker Theo Ligthart, who was also a key collaborator on the conception of the installation. Ligthart produced six film tracks, each dealing with a different aspect of Hedy Lamarr's biography and acting career.
